Things I missed the first time going through the canyon.
The road in 9 Mile Canyon is now paved almost entirely, which makes for an easier drive. The road is a touch wider and has more areas to pull your car off to the side so you can go explore. (Always respect private property signs.)
Helpful hints:
- Binoculars are very helpful for viewing the rock art high up.
- The best time to photograph rock art is mornings, late afternoon, and overcast days. The midday sun is not very helpful.
