Devil's Den

I did the Devil's Den hike on 14th of June, 2009. Devil's Den is located in Oak City Canyon, (Central) Utah. Due to the wildfire, the trail is not visible anymore. I had to follow a rocky, dry stream bed up to the spot. There was too much new vegetation and new oak brush growing in between the burned trees to go any other way.

The dark spot is where Devil's Den is located. The dark spot is caused by a natural spring coming out of the rocks. I proceeded with caution! I especially didn't want to get shot either (notice the bullet holes in the sign). A man, dog, and deer had been there sometime recently before me. Hiking back down, I took a detour to the ancient lava flow rocks.
