Hutchings Museum

21st of February, 2013

Utah Statewide Archaeology Society Meeting held at the Hutchings Museum  in Lehi, Utah.

I love this little museum! It has so many different things to look at. Besides the wonderful historical displays, they have a vast rock, gem, and fossil collection.

Here are some pictures I took at this visit:

A lot of hiking in one day

The slot canyons and return to Goblin Valley

My friend, Christina, and I had one day to do some hiking. We left Saturday evening to meet up with our other friend, Sonia, who was all ready on her weekend hiking trip. We camped in Capital Reef and took off from there to Little Horse/Bell canyon to hike the slots. And at the very end, Sonia said she had never been to Goblin Valley. Since it was literally right there, we took her to see it and goofed around for a bit.
