My friend, Christina, and I had one day to do some hiking. We left Saturday evening to meet up with our other friend, Sonia, who was all ready on her weekend hiking trip. We camped in Capital Reef and took off from there to Little Horse/Bell canyon to hike the slots. And at the very end, Sonia said she had never been to Goblin Valley. Since it was literally right there, we took her to see it and goofed around for a bit.

This one look a little blurry, but the petroglyphs were way up high on the cliff side.
On the 15th of October, 2011, I visited the Museum of the San Rafael in Castle Dale, Utah.
Taxidermy:
There was a lot of taxidermy on display! I find it to be such a strange art.
Artifacts: They had a lot of great and fascinating artifacts at the museum too.
The museum also had a good display of fossils and a neat UV black light rock display as well. While you are there, don't forget to pick up area maps and trail guides.
