My friend, Christina, and I had one day to do some hiking. We left Saturday evening to meet up with our other friend, Sonia, who was all ready on her weekend hiking trip. We camped in Capital Reef and took off from there to Little Horse/Bell canyon to hike the slots. And at the very end, Sonia said she had never been to Goblin Valley. Since it was literally right there, we took her to see it and goofed around for a bit.

Description
During construction of Interstate 70, ruins from a large ancient Fremont Indian village were uncovered. This museum was built to preserve treasures from the site, including pottery, baskets and arrowheads. The ancient people decorated many nearby cliff walls with unique rock art. Spend a few hours at the museum, tour the rock art sites and then camp at nearby Castle Rock Campground. Location
Approximately 180 miles south of Salt Lake City.
